This project, developed by Shorepoint Architecture, features a luxury oceanfront condominium. The primary challenge was engineering and customizing Schüco systems to meet the stringent performance requirements mandated by the Miami-Dade Code—widely regarded as one of the most rigorous building standards in the U.S.—while maintaining the precise dimensions dictated by the design intent.
Schüco Lift & Slide systems were integrated with Schüco point-supported façades, and a bespoke head receptor was designed and thoroughly tested to accommodate material expansion and contraction. This solution ensures both structural integrity and long-term performance, delivering a seamless blend of aesthetic excellence and engineering innovation.
