The canopy was entirely engineered and fabricated in Italy, based on the architect’s requirement for a seamless bronze finish with no visible fixings. The structure consists of a custom-extruded bronze profile system, developed specifically for this project to achieve clean lines and hidden connections.
All vertical and horizontal elements were CNC-machined to allow for millimetric tolerances and to integrate concealed mechanical fasteners. The ceiling-mounted support brackets were also custom-designed and precisely aligned to the structural slab, enabling installation from below with no external scaffolding.
The entire canopy assembly was prefabricated and preassembled in the workshop to verify geometry, alignment, and surface finish continuity. The bronze was treated with a matte brushed finish and sealed to preserve its natural patina over time.
Modules were shipped in sequence and installed on-site using concealed anchors, ensuring a monolithic appearance with no disruption to the facade’s architectural intent.
